Snowy Mountain Inn - What To Do!

At Snowy Mountain Inn you'll find many opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors!

Trout Fishing: If you enjoy fishing, you'll find our stocked, catch & release trout pond a delightful experience.If you forget your pole, we have fishing poles in the Lodge available to loan.

Hiking: Snowy Mountain Inn sits on 10 acres of land covered with meadows and forested areas just waiting to be explored. Directly behind our Lodge is a gorgeous canyon to explore.

ATV's: Although there are no areas to ride at Snowy, you are welcome to trailer your ATV's in. There are several locations close by to do off road riding.

Horseshoes & Volleyball: Try your hand at horseshoes in a horseshoe pit or a game of volleyball located just outside the Lodge.

TV/Movies: All of our cabins are equipped with 100-channel DIRECTV satellite LCD TV/DVD/VCR . The Lodge has a selection of videos and DVD's for your enjoyment - stop by and pick up a few.

Kids Room: The Lodge has a room especially for the youngest guests. We have coloring & reading books, toys, games and dress-up clothes.

Relaxing: Spend a lovely afternoon sitting on a bench near the pond or relaxing in one of our many hammocks located around the grounds. Our covered bridge is a marvelous place for quiet thought and enjoying the beautiful scenery. You are always welcome to come in and enjoy the lodge living room too! It is open during regular business hours. We have coffee, tea, cider and hot chocolate free of charge to our guests. There is also a pool table, puzzles, cards and a kids corner. Come on in and put your feet up in front of the fireplace.

Outdoor Kid Stuff : There is a swing set, slide and a play house directly behind the Lodge for the younger guests.

Wildlife Walk: Elk, deer, squirrels, raccoons, chipmunks, skunks, herons, hawks and eagles are just some of the wildlife that roam our grounds. Enjoy an evening walk around the grounds searching for wildlife.

Winter Fun: Enjoy the NEW snow playground. When the snow starts to fly, enjoy the snow launchers, snow blocks for building your own igloo and dress our resident snowmen with all the clothes and accessories you will need. We also have several sleds and saucers for your use.
